Duane began his career in production as a television commercial PA for Mattel Toys in 1995. He then transitioned to market research viabilities as a tape operator and soon began directing. Working with brands while in the early stages of product development he gained invaluable experience as he learned on set how to best film toys to highlight features. From there he branched out further into the toy industry and began writing, producing, and directing sizzles for companies including Spinmaster, Jakks Pacific, and MGA Entertainment.
In 2006 he took his toy experience and passion for storytelling to create an original pilot for Comedy Central called “Hollywood Angels”. A parody poking fun at the absurdity of celebrity, “Hollywood Angels” required creating original celebrity dolls specifically for the show. Duane oversaw all aspects of production including set and doll design, and acted as writer, producer, director, VO talent, and hand model.
Duane then returned to toys and now provides creative for pitches and directs television commercials for brands including WWE, Batman v Superman, Justice League, Nintendo, and Max Cliff Climber.
